How can you help?
We are excited to share with you our new initiatives to raise funds to help provide needed education to our customers, parents, and providers. Inclusion Inc. is currently serving 700 customers in the Portland metro area. Additional education is being asked for so our customers can best be supported. As most of you are aware, brokerage supports are paid for using Medicaid funds that are spent using state regulated expenditure guidelines. Additional funding is needed to meet these unmet educational needs.
After obtaining information during customer meetings and focus groups, we have determined areas where further education is needed.
- Parent Education
- Provider Education—trainings to deal with difficult customer situations such as alcohol and drugs, judicial system, mental health issues
Inclusion Inc. has started creating community allies and obtained some funding through local grants but we need more help. We are asking for your help to raise funds to make this necessary education a reality.
